One line. Verified. Installed.

Prebuilt binaries for mynd and wardn, pulled straight from GitHub Releases and checked against their sha256 sums before anything lands on your disk.

Safe to pipe to sh.

Checksum-verified

Every tarball is checked against the release’s checksum.txt. A mismatch, or a release with no checksums, aborts before anything is installed.

Detects your platform

OS and architecture are detected automatically, and the matching release build is fetched. Intel Macs are pointed to Homebrew instead.

No root required

Binaries go to ~/.local/bin by default. If it isn’t on your PATH, the script tells you how to add it.

Options

Your version.
Your directory.

Two environment variables, both optional. Set them on the sh side of the pipe.

VERSIONInstall an exact release tag. Defaults to the latest.

Prebuilt for Linux and Apple Silicon. Intel Macs install through the OxHive Homebrew tap.

Maintenance

Update or retire mynd.

No separate tooling. The same line that installed it keeps it current.

Updating

Re-run the install. It replaces the binary with the latest release.

curl -fsSL https://get.oxhive.dev/mynd | sh

Check the installed release with mynd --version. To roll back, pin an older tag with VERSION.

Uninstalling

If you set up the background service, stop it first, then delete the binary.

mynd service uninstall
rm ~/.local/bin/mynd

Installed elsewhere? Swap ~/.local/bin for the INSTALL_DIR you used.
